In The Dogged Footsteps~Chapter One

This is the story of a pack of wild dogs. They've all been abandonded by their owners, and they've found each other. They live in the woods just off Vancouver, Washington. Noodles is a Rottweiler, and she's the alpha of the pack.
I'm allowing only one dog per member. (Sorry. It just gets confusing with more than one.) They may have a position in the pack, and once we get more members, we can have multiple dogs in one position. But, for now, one dog per position. Positions: Hunter, Tracker, Babysitter, Beta. (I'll eventually add more.)

Extra: She is quite the athlete of the pack, but she is not one to give up on something. She can be nice, she just chooses when to do so. She is mostly a tough talker and always up for a fight, but when one of her companions is hurt, she is there to help them right away. She has known Noodles for a long time.

Dark looked around, she was in the north part of the woods, closest to the lake. Winter lake was in, what the Nofurs called, the Oregon. They called the lake Crater Lake. She sniffed the air, there way a pack of Nofurs approaching. She had to leave, now. She turned her tail to the Nofurs and ran back to base camp. "Noodles!! The Nofurs are coming!! We must eat a little, then leave the north part of the woods! I don't think the Nofurs will stop coming. We must go back to the western woods. It is safer there than here." she panted. She was the fastest dog in the group.

Noodles lifted her head from her paws. As soon as she heard Dark say the word "nofurs" she knew they had to haul butt, now.
"I knew we shouldn't have come down here!" Noodles spat at herself in frustration. "We have to go back up to Vancouver, Dark. There's more forest, and more room. Plus we have the rest of the pack to worry about. I have a feeling that once we get back we're going to have to sort out some problems. Where did we hide that goose we caught last night?" Noodles stood and shook the fallen leaves off of herself.

"Alright. I think you hide it right over," said Dark walking over to a pile of fresh snow, "here." she finished. She gently dug through the snow pile and pulled out a half eaten-goose. "Don't forget it was your idea to come down here to explore." she reminded Noodles. Dark hated coming to Oregon during the fall months. She didn't like the fact that Nofurs were coming up into the woods, with a be-be gun and shooting off their food supply or that their pups came towards them and pulled on her tail while they strayed from their parents. Then, a deafening sound, like a gun, went off. Dark looked of to her right and saw 3 little figures in the distance but the didn't have be-be guns; they had death shooters. "Man I hate those death shooters!" she thought. Dark looked at Noodles, "No time to eat, we have to leave. Now."
