The Supernatural Academy

Cheaka hid her face in her legs, "I'm.....fine. I....just can't trust
people. I had one to many betrayals in my past......I can't handle it.
Every single person I met, was a fake." she said. She sighed heavily, "Ever since my parent's died, I was treated as an animal, as pet, as a slave, and so many more horrible things." Cheaka looked at Alice with her crimson red eyes, "I had to witness of my parents death, along with my baby brother..." she sobbed. Her tail curled around her feet and her ears drooped.

Alice's eyes widened slightly. "Aw," She said quietly. "you should've never been treated like that. Or to see your family's murder..." She said, and placed a delicate hand on Cheaka's cheek. "You're in a safe place now, trust me, everything will be better here..."

Cheaka flinched when Alice put her hand on her cheek. She looked at her, "Alice.............thank you for being so nice to me......" she said. Cheaka staggered up, "I need to wash my face so that it looks like i didn't cry." she said walking over to the sink. She saw Alice eyeing her tail, "Yeah...I'm part panther demon. So I have a black tail and black cat ears." she said.

"No problem..." Alice said with a small smile. She nodded twice, taking in the information that was just given to her.

Cheaka stretched, "I should introduce myself. My name is Cheaka Higarashi, half panther demon, half Poison Fang Vampire. On night's of the half moon, I turn into a human with black hair and sapphire blue eyes. Class 3b, age 16. Pleasure to meet you." she said. She yawned, exposing her black tinted vampire fangs.

Alice smiled. "It's my pleasure. I should introduce myself too..." She cleared her throat, smiling, and held one hand up. "I'm Alice Oshibonni, Vampire Hunter, Magician, Singer, and Blood Bank. Class 1A, age 15." She bowed her head slightly.

Cheaka shook her hand, "My pleasure. I guess I'm older than you by one year. Too bad we aren't in the same class." she said. She walked out of the bathroom, "I wonder if there's any pocky around here...." she said looking around.

"Yeah, that's a bit disappointing..." Alice said and followed. A smirk danced across her face and she twirled her hand in her hands. She held out the hat to Cheaka. "I might have a box or two." She said, just as two boxes popped out.

Cheaka eye's went wide, "Wow!!! Thank you!!!" she said grabbing a box. She opened it and ate one at a time, "I haven't eaten anything in weeks!" she said.

"No problem," She winked as she set the hat atop of her head. "Weeks? Um, wow. That's not good for you, you know..."

Cheaka nodded, "I know I know. But when your walking through a forest with no food or water, it's kinda hard. I had to transform into my panther form to look for a stream." she said eating another piece of pocky.

Alice shook her head. "I have yet to be in that situation, but it sounds tough..."

Cheaka nodded, "You have no idea. I woke up there one morning in the middle of a clearing, but I couldn't remember a thing.....it's weird." she said.

Alice looked at her for a moment, her eyes tinting a bit darker than usual. "Do you have Amnesia?" She thought aloud.

"I don't know. If I do I don't know about it. My masters never told me." answered Cheaka.

Alice chuckled for a moment, rubbing her forehead. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be chuckling..." She said, rubbing her forehead harder. "I'm no doctor, so I can't actually tell you if you do have it or not."

Cheaka looked at Alice, "Yeah......The only things I remember are my days as a pet, as a slave, and the faces of my parents. Along with that dreadful day of their death. I don't even know who my grand parents are." she said. She started to laugh, "I know I shouldn't be laughing....but it's the only thing that keeps me from running away from this school." she said.

Alice nodded. "Ah." Was all she could really say.

Cheaka put the empty pocky box into her bag. She took out what looked like an old pocket watch. She opened it and there were two picture's of people on either side, one male the other a female. The female had cat ears and a tail while the male had black tinted fangs, "This is my mother and father. My mom is a panther demon while my father is a Poison Fang Vampire." she said handing the pocket watch to Alice.

Alice took the watch and stared at the picture for a few moments. A smile tickled onto her face. "You're parents look to beautiful." She said, handing the watch back. "If we're sharing pictures of our families though..." She reached to the top of her school socks, pulling an old, worn out, folded picture out. She unfolded it and showed it to Cheaka. There was her mom and her dad in the back, both equally smiling. Her mom had long dark brown hair and was holding a cello at her side. Her dad had short dark brown hair and was in his magician's outfit. Then then was young Alice and her twin Miyu in front of them, fingers interlocked and smiling too. Alice had dark long brown hair like her mom, while Miyu had firey red hair that was short. The picture was set in their house, in the living room. "That's me, my twin, my mom and my dad. They were advanced hunters while we were still in training." She chuckled and pointed everyone out.

Cheaka smiled, "Wow, your mother is beautiful and your father is handsome. You look so cute!" she said. Then her eyes fell upon Miyu, "Is......your sister still alive?" she asked remembering her own brother.

"Thanks..." Alice said with a small smile as she put the photo away. Her breath caught in her throat as she heard the question. "A-ah... I'm not sure actually..."

"I would say yes..." Mioko said as she settped up behind them. "I am sorry for my brother's behavior earlyier. He can be a pain in the but sometimes, but I still love him." a soft smile lit up her face as she talked about him and then she snapped back and said "Oh I'm sorry, I should tell you who I am. My name is Mioko Ace Kiryu, related to Zero and Ichiru Kiryu, and my half sister Alexiel Kiryu/Kuran. So I guess that means that I am kinda even realted to Kaname. Even though I don't claim him, he claimes me 'cause it makes him look good. I al really good at what I do," she stopped and smiled and then counited "I am a Hunter, and rasieing up the ranks along with Alice and Zero. Ummm, Ichiru, Zero and I are all 16, I am in 3a and Ichiru is in 3b," she startes to wisper now "I think that just means that he is "special"" then she laughed.

Alice laughed along with her. "That's so mean," She said, softly punching Mioko's shoulder. "but just too funny."

Samara came up next to Alice and hugged her. "Momma." She whispered.

Cue the sweatdrop going down Alice's head.

"I know. But still, I couldn't let that pass me by..." she said before she stopped laughing.
