Cheaka sighed, "If only I had stilts." she said.

Cheaka snickered, "Yeah....I'll shut up now too. I need to save my voice." she said.

Cheaka sighed, "May I talk to you in private?" she asked.

"Right......I didn't tell Alice this because I didn't want to worry her. I have what the animals call, black-fever. It's a disease caused by a unknown source. If the flu was not treated for in a week, it turns into white-fever, than green-fever, and the final stage, black-fever. Basically, I can loose the ability to hold a human form and talk. Therefore, I will never be able to hold my human form unless I take the right medication. I've been taking the medication for over a year, but the disease hasn't gone away. Just yesterday I ate the last pill. So, you can see where I'm getting at." said Cheaka, "But, I can sustain my human form until the end of the first semester."

"At what? The disease's mark is on the back of my neck." said Cheaka. She coughed.

Cheaka laughed, "I haven't had a decent meal after my parents died. My so-called owner's haven't fed me like a human. The only decent meal I've had in years was a couple of cooked rabbits I caught on the way here." she said.

"I don't know. I've adapted to small portions of food." said Cheaka.

"You are going to eat...or if you don't I get to tie you up and force feed you." Mioko said with a glare.
"Trust her. She'll do it..." Shiki said as he grabbed some food.

Cheaka grabbed some food and smirked at Shiki, "I guess you would know." she said.

Cheaka bit into her food. She didn't show any expression but she loved the food.

"Ya know, I'm ignoring that."

Cheaka sighed, "Whatever." she said.
